To date, much of this\u00a0work has focussed on spatial communication &#8211; how we communicate about locations of objects and places. Examples include both basic research on spatial prepositions, spatial demonstratives, and quantifiers from a multidisciplinary perspective, and applied work to facilitate comprehension of spatial communication (e.g. working with the IPCC to produce accessible visualisations of climate change data). His research in this field has been funded by major research grants from the ESRC, AHRC, EPSRC and the European Union.<\/p>\n<p>To read about this work please view\u00a0publications <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kennycoventry.org\/?page_id=59\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Watch\u00a0a short film about some of this research\u00a0<a title=\"On Language and Perception\" href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/LXycUPCSg14\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Decision Making Under Conditions of Uncertainty<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kennycoventry.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Dice.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-48\" style=\"border: 0pt;\" title=\"Dice\" src=\"http:\/\/www.kennycoventry.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/12\/Dice-300x300.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"162\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>He also has a long-standing interest in the issue of how people make decisions under conditions of uncertainty.
